Private aviation at its finest — where passionate pilots, exceptional aircraft, and the world's most breathtaking airways converge.
Pacific Apex was founded by a group of dedicated aviators who believed that the skies above British Columbia represent the most extraordinary flying terrain on earth. We bring together pilots, aircraft owners, and aviation enthusiasts united by a shared love of flight.
Membership grants you access to our curated fleet program, exclusive route guides prepared by veteran bush pilots, monthly hangar socials, and a community that keeps aviation alive and thriving on the Pacific coast.
From rugged bush planes to sleek turboprops, our member fleet represents the finest aviation machinery suited to Pacific Northwest flying.
Our flagship jet cruises at 45,000 ft and Mach 0.74. Perfect for cross-country runs to Calgary, Toronto, or weekend jaunts to Palm Springs. Seats 8 in club configuration.
No aircraft is more synonymous with BC bush flying. Our restored Beaver launches from the Fraser River, landing on remote lakes across the Coast Mountains.
The Swiss-engineered workhorse of mountain aviation. Lands on short gravel strips, hauls cargo, and flies in IMC that would ground lesser aircraft. Absolutely unmatched versatility.
The pinnacle of piston aviation. Glass cockpit, turbocharged engine, and the world's only certified parachute system make this the safest, most capable single-engine aircraft ever built.
Curated airway guides developed by our veteran members. Each route is documented with waypoints, altitude recommendations, weather considerations, and the best moments to look left.
Depart Vancouver International, follow Howe Sound northward through the Squamish Valley, over Garibaldi Provincial Park, and down into Whistler. Snow-capped peaks at arm's reach all winter long.
One of North America's premier scenic flights. Trace the Inside Passage through the Gulf Islands, past active orca pods, glacial fjords, and the ancient rainforest coastline of Haida Gwaii.
The classic Canadian cross-mountain epic. Cross the Rockies at a high-altitude corridor, catching the Columbia Icefield at dawn. Multi-day adventure with overnight in Banff or Jasper.
A short local gem. Fly south over the Fraser River delta at golden hour — the light on the farmland patchwork and Mt. Baker's silhouette across the border is worth every minute.
For the adventurous pilot. Track northwest past Prince Rupert and into Southeastern Alaska. Glaciers, brown bears on the tideflats, and some of the most remote wilderness flying on the continent.
Cross the 49th parallel southbound along the coast to the Columbia River. Stunning coastal scenery, easy customs at Bellingham, and the option to push on to Portland or Seattle.
From black-tie hangar dinners to pre-dawn fly-outs, our event calendar keeps the Pacific Apex community connected through the year.
Our flagship annual event. Black tie dinner in the South Terminal's historic hangar, with live jazz, awards for outstanding members, and a keynote from a Canadian astronaut.
Join a loose formation of club aircraft for the Whistler Corridor route. Post-flight brunch in the village.
The longest day of the year deserves the longest party. Aircraft on static display, live music, and a spectacular Fraser River sunset.
Two-day intensive with our chief flight instructor. Mountain wave, density altitude, canyon procedures, and emergency protocols. Limited to 8 pilots.
Three-day floatplane adventure up the Inside Passage. Remote lodges, whale watching, and Beaver flying at its finest. 8 spots available.
German food, craft beer, and talk of aircraft — what better way to see summer off? Bring your family, friends, and aircraft anecdotes.
Every second Tuesday of the month, our pilots gather at the Anchor & Altimeter — a cozy aviation-themed pub steps from YVR — for informal meetups. No agenda, just great flying stories and aviation camaraderie.
Whether you're a newly minted PPL or a 20,000-hour ATP, you're welcome at the table. Our monthly meetups have spawned some of the club's best fly-out partnerships, lasting friendships, and a few tall tales.
